古代の倭国が海外諸国を意識し、はじめて日本と名乗ってから1300年が経つ。当時、奈良の都に住む人々の、国内をはじめ、アジアや世界を遠望する眼差しをイメージし構成した。
It is now 1,300 years since the ancient Wakoku began calling itself Nihon(Japan) with international awareness of the time. This is designed with an image which the people living in Nara at that time were likely to have had about the nation, Asia and the world.
